"Flat ironed hair doesn't have to be lifeless," Solano says. "Use a good quality iron that'll enhance your shine, and make sure to pivot the iron while styling. Straight hair can be bouncy and sexy."

Solano says the key to this classic fall look is to define your client's hair part. Solano likes to wear a strong middle part or a deep side part. She recommends pivoring the flat iron towards the ends of your client's hair to create a face framing shape.

To complete her smooth and straight look, Solano uses her favorite flat iron, Babyliss Pro Flat Iron Nano Titanium Prima 3000 Styling Iron.

She also says to not be afraid to use a gel while styling. Although it might sound scary, the end result will provide a good amount of shine according to Solano.

She recommends using Gel Serum by ORIBE to prep hair before using the flat iron. She applies it onto wet hair. It will create a slight cast at first, but once the heat from the iron is applied, the cast will break and the result will be shiny, straight hair.
