Right on trend with texture and braids, Sam Villa, educator and manufacturer, who has developed a professional line of tools and shears, created two whimsical looks for MODERN SALON’s Artist Session using the Texture iron microcrimper, braided adornments and imagination.
“What is most loved about a braided headband is its versatility,” says Villa, who is also a Redken educator. “These techniques are not new, but are timeless. The braid itself can be woven together as tightly or loosely as you wish, or paired with a ponytail of bubbles for added character. No matter how it is achieved, the braided headband style remains a much-loved classic among women with all types of hair.”
