The Chicago-based editor collaborates closely with salon professionals, social influencers and brands to connect them with MODERN’s readers and online community—an audience that includes a print circulation of 100,000 and more than one million Instagram followers. Newman is a key contributor to MODERN SALON Media’s Artist Connective influencer program, social media platforms, digital channels, print publications and custom media projects. Newman joined MODERN in 2015.

Jennifer Malone is one of those social-media personas you can just tell is someone you'd want to be your friend. We first posted Malone's work on our site last year, and from then on it has been a love-fest of us commenting on each other's pages, congratulating one another on milestones, and sliding into DMs. Check out one of our favorite people to fangirl over, including some of the most gaga-worthy balayge we've seen.
Robin Del Toro's page is as bright, beautiful and bubbly as the artist herself. Portland-based Asa Bree Sieracki is one of our favorite nail artists to follow on Instagram because of her dazzling, quirky and flawless hand-painted designs, which she posts to her page with her salon's signature mat underneath to serve as her art's backdrop.
