Tips to get the best results on post: Pictures should be clear and bright. Focused on the hair. Too much blurring takes away from the picture. Busy backgrounds compete too much. If you don't see the hair first no one else will either. Before and After photos should be as consistent as lighting allows.
Favorite professional beauty products: I'm a Paul Mitchell girl. My go-tos for blowing out hair are in the Awapuhi Wild Ginger line. Styling Treatment Oil, Hydrocream Whip and Thermal Styling, Hot off the Press and Hold Me Tight Spray for prepping hair for curling. I'm loving the new Paul Mitchell Neon Sugar Spray for texture.
How social media changed my life: Social media has allowed me to form friendships with artists from across the country that I never would have been lucky enough to meet otherwise. All of the information artists share helps me to keep growing and pushing myself to get better and better. I started on Instagram just a year ago. I had no understanding of social media whatsoever. I had just over 400 last year at this time. Because of how quickly my IG account grew, I have started teaching classes on how I balayage. I'm so grateful for the opportunities it has given me to share my passion with fellow artists and for the exposure someone like me from a small town, would have never received otherwise.
