Jerseylicious Makeover
MODERN Makeover challenged Anthony Lombardi, owner of Anthony Robert Salon of Verona, New Jersey, and make-up artist Olivia Blois Sharpe to create a “Jersey Club Look” on the Style Network’s newest Jerseylicious cast member, Jacquelina Bianchi. For this look, Lombardi demonstrated a foil high/lowlighting with a gentle root bump. “In this case I did a partial highlight toward the front and in the crown, with a few scattered lowlights throughout. The root was lifted slightly for a little depth along the parting.”

"We saw a lot of unusually colorful and bright collections for fall—oranges, reds, greens and blues," says Essie Weingarten. "So as a result, we are seeing a lot of neutral nails that are made bold through interesting textures."

In this look created by Clairol Professional Artistic Director Danny LaPointe and Clairol Professional Lead Color Master Anita Gutierrez, various red shades shine through in a layered cut designed to showcase the color. “I selected this shade because the model’s skin tone and eyes were lost in her uninteresting hair,” said Gutierrez. “To maximize her features, her color needed some kind of warmth.”
