Hairdresser Craig Gangi styled the actress Anna Kendrick (who offered a peek at the process on her INSTAGRAM feed, below)  at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 8. Gangi's goals was capturing her youthful elegance and accenting her naturally beautiful hair.   Gangi also wanted to complement Kendrick's fashion choices:

"Anna decided to wear a chic black low cut suit. I wanted to give her that sexy Parisian women's hair. Hair that looks effortlessly beautiful. Hair that looks like it's been unstyled yet has a soft touchable loose wave."

Here's Gangi's 'how-to' using products from UNITE Hair:

STEP ONE: To achieve this look I began by applying UNITE U Luxury Oil to Anna's damp hair. This product is amazing at repairing a damaged cuticle and making hair feel healthy again. It also creates soft weightless shine.

STEP TWO: I then sprayed UNITE Boosta spray generously over her damp hair. This builds body and creates extra texture and movement in hair.

STEP THREE: I didn't want to loose Anna’s natural volume so I blow-dried her hair with a vent brush not a round brush.

STEP FOUR: After Anna's hair was dry I curled her hair with my T3 1.25 single pass twirl iron. After curling each 1 1/2 inch section with iron, I then combed each section out with my fingers to create that loose effortless wave . If the curl is not loosened it could look unnatural and you could end up with that prom curl.

STEP FIVE: After hair was curled I used a extra wide tooth comb to loosen wave even more. I then used UNITE Texturiza dry finishing spray, this created even more volume and added a nice dry texture to hair. I wanted to show off Anna’s stunning earring so swept hair off to one side so it could not be hidden. Finally I lightly sprayed UNITE Session Max over the style to control any flyaways and keep style in place.
