The 2010 International Salon & Spa Expo was a perfect show. More than 40,000 salon professionals attended, setting an all time record for ISSE. Held this past weekend in Long Beach, California at the convention center, the show featured 397 exhibitors, up 3% from 2009 and was produced by the Professional Beauty Association (PBA).
Among the many highlights were classes and presentations by Tabatha Coffey, Charlie Price, Ruth Roche, Karg and Blackwell and Martin Parsons. More than 250 education classes were held for hair, skin, nails, massage therapy, marketing and business strategies.
The Legends and Icons Gala was a highlight of ISSE. Honored were Ann Mincey, Robert Cromeans and Sonya and Christopher Dove. More than 400 industry professionals attended supporting the PBA/NCA Cares Fund. An additional $3400 was raised for Haiti earthquake relief.
The BBR Beauty Show featured a prominent speaker lineup including Lacy Redway, Karrueche Tran, Danessa Myricks, Chelley B., Sabrina Elba, Jessica Harris-Dupart, and more.
