For anyone that watched the 2011 Golden Globe Awards last night, French Twists, luscious waves, blunt bangs and perfect ponytails graced the red carpet.
For anyone that watched the 2011 Golden Globe Awards last night, French Twists, luscious waves, blunt bangs and perfect ponytails graced the red carpet.

Among my favorites were the tight updos and French Twists adorned by celebrities like Eva Longoria, Carrie Underwood and especially Natalie Portman! Each wore a twist that boasted lots of height and a soft, flawless side part.
Curly updo's were not only a flattering classic choice for this formal event, but they looked absolutely stunning on starlets like Scarlett Johansson and Lea Michelle who both chose a more romantic look. These styles matched their outfits and highlighted their facial features nicely.
Last time MODERN covered Sandra Bullock's red carpet look she went for sleek, long and shiny hair. For the Golden Globes she did a style that resembled her previous one, however this time she added a new frontal fringe!-thick bangs. TRON's Olivia Wilde not only turned heads in her Marchesa ball gown, but she also rocked the same style. Which celebrity fringe do you like the most last night?

Long, cascading waves adorned by Megan Fox, Heidi Klum, and 20s-inspired 'dos by celebs like January Jones and Christina Aguilera were other Golden Globe trends of the evening.
So what about the guys? Hollywood heartthrob Robert Pattinson introduced his new current hair style-a reddish tint that wasn't exactly planned. "It's a different color in Twilight than it is in Water for Elephants, so I had to do a rush-dye job," he explains. "Just like some mousse, isn't it amazing?" It's definitely different, I'll tell you that!
