ALTERNA HAIRCARE ANNOUNCES NEW LEAD CREATIVE TEAM, ALTERNA GLOBAL HOUSE OF EXPERTS
Alterna Haircare is proud to unveil its new team of creative stylists, known as the Alterna Global House of Experts (AGHE). This team features six hair experts who will lead Alterna’s creative team, set the bar for education and develop Alterna’s trend collections moving forward.
“I am beyond thrilled to be finally unveiling this team of dynamite hair stylists,” revealed Alterna Haircare CEO/President Joan Malloy. “We’ve been developing and strategizing the AGHE for two years, so we really took our time vetting and selecting the best of the best.”
The team includes Rita Perna Allor, who was also recently promoted to Artistic Director, Nate Rosenkranz, Bill Tsikinaris, Antonio Velotta, Megan Thompson and Artur Kirsh. Each member of the team submitted a portfolio of work and underwent a rigorous audition process.
Alterna Haircare Global House of Experts Team Members:
· Rita Perna Allor: As the most senior member of AGHE, Allor is not only an international stage artist, but also a technical master, translating hairstyles into education for aspiring stylists. Having joined Alterna Haircare, Rita has helped to design Alterna’s cutting-edge collections, unique styling and cutting techniques and educational programs. She brings over 27 years of beauty industry experience to Alterna.
· Bill Tsikinaris: Hailing from Brisbane, Australia, Tsiknaris has been named Queensland Hairdresser of the Year for the last 4 years. Over his 29-year career, Bill has been featured in 72 publications across 22 countries. At home, he founded Tsiknaris Hair that he manages with his brothers.
· Antonio Velotta: A lead stylist from John Barrett Salon, NYC 5th Avenue, Velotta’s hairstyles range from the sacred to the profane, and he can execute an angular, ultra-stylized punkrock hairstyle as well as work magic with braids. Velotta executes his artistic vision on the runway, on photo shoots and with his exacting salon clientele.
· Nate Rosenkranz: New York City based hairstylist, with over 25 years of experience in fashion, editorial and celebrity styling. Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger, Diane Von Furstenberg. His work has been featured in Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Glamour, InStyle and Vogue.
· Artur Kirsh: Kirsh is a Moscow-born celebrity hair stylist boasting more than 20+ hair styling experience and a client roster that includes Celine Dion, Kathy Griffin, Nicole Miller and Ken Downing.. He is the owner of the award-winning Studio CL in Philadelphia and is regularly highlighted in international media.
· Megan Thompson: Thompson has more than 15 years of salon industry experience with credits from Project Runway and NY Fashion Week. She is a salon owner who travels internationally to style hair for runway shows, television commercials and music videos.

The AGHE officially launches in January 2016.
