In the film "American Hustle" the hair and make-up defined the characters--a Disco Diva, a Comb-Over Con Artist, a Hyper-Permed Fed--and the team of hairdressers who created these evocative styles were recognized for their work with Britain's equivalent of an Oscar, the BAFTA or British Academy of Film and Television Arts Award. MODERN SALON congratulates Evelyne Noraz, Lori McCoy-Bell, and Kathrine Gordon on their 2014 BAFTA Award for Make-up and Hair which was presented to them at the Royal Opera House in London, on Sunday, February 16 2014. Gordon is the daughter of Jerry Gordon, a Chicago salon owner. Past President of Cosmetologists Chicago, and multiple award-winner in his own right,
