Beauty & Pin-Ups has announced that Best Buddies International will serve as the brand’s exclusive charitable partner. The multi-faceted product company is committed to supporting the Best Buddies mission by employing people with intellectual disabilities, promoting the Best Buddies mission on all of the company’s products, website and social media vehicles, as well as through a series of dynamically designed events in both the U.S. and around the world. Beauty & Pin-Ups donates a portion of all sales to the heroic work of Best Buddies International.

“I am very excited to be partnered with Beauty & Pin-Ups,” says Anthony Shriver, founder and chairman of Best Buddies International. “Beauty & Pin-Ups is a company that believes passionately in the Best Buddies mission. This collaboration will be a home run for us both.”

MODERN SALON met Best Buddies International Ambassador Katie Meade in Las Vegas, where she aided in the launch of Beauty & Pin-Ups’ new haircare line. While there, Meade was the special guest of Janine Jarman, owner of Hairroin Salon, which won best salon design at the North American Hair Styling Awards. By all accounts, Meade was the light that made the launch come to life.

Beauty & Pin-Ups is adamant in their commitment to communicating the Best Buddies mission and helping the organization make a change in the world.

“We’re not doing it because it’s the right thing to do,” said Kenny Kahn, chief executive officer of Level Beauty Group, “we are doing this because it’s the only thing to do.”

In Dubai, Clients Visit the Salon Every Week. Here’s What That Market Can Teach You

In Dubai, a salon visit isn’t an appointment. It’s a weekly routine, and clients can spend $800 to $1,400 a month on it, according to Gaurav Tripathi of MADI International.
