CHI has recently been named as the official hair care sponsor of the 2014 MISS USA Competition. For the tenth consecutive year, CHI products and tools will be exclusively used backstage by lead hairstylist Tammy Mixon and her team to create the looks for 51 contestants, the hosts, entertainers and panel of celebrity judges. The CHI backstage styling team consists of ten professional editorial artists and session stylists from all over the country.
“Having strong time management skills is essential when working on live events and shows. You have to anticipate last second changes and disruptions without losing your head, "said CHI Creative Artist Albert Luis. "No matter what, if the contestant gets pulled from my chair at any time mid-style, she will be stage-ready.”
