Alan Benfield Bush, co-founder of ABBA Haircare, former director of Vidal Sassoon schools in California, will be headlining an educational hair show in Long Beach, CA on Monday, September 16. Being dubbed “A Hair Show created by Artistic Engineers for Artistic Engineers” the product-free presentation also includes:
Robert Lee Casillas and Yanni Daskalakis, Masters of “The Method” and the original “Condensed Cutting” Technique; Monica Salena and Ricardo Caballero, On-Set Editorial Make-Up and Styling Artists; Eric Anthony, Master Colorist and Educator.

Known for developing his own method of haircutting called “Condensed Cutting”, Benfield Bush teaches the architecture of design within the art form and has mentored his method to hairdressers around the world.
Also a motivational speaker, he will share the highs and lows of his journey and how you can learn to create and appreciate your own authentic success. From his early beginnings as Vidal Sassoon’s partner in England, he directed and managed Sassoon’s schools in California and eventually developed his revolutionary and unique system he coined "The Method.”
The event, which is scheduled to take place from 6:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. is being hosted by award-winning hair stylist, Tony Cantafio, owner of Anthony Roberts Salon in Long Beach and will be held at 5411 El Cedral, Long Beach, CA 90815. Admission is $50.00 in advance and $60.00 at the door and includes drinks and refreshments. Cosmetology students are welcome to attend at 50% off the regular price.
