Celebrity nail stylist Naja Rickette has joined the cast of the reality Television show L.A. Hair where the Nail Guru, as she is known, views her role as a great opportunity to educate the viewing public about the nail care profession.

Her A-list clients include Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Fergie, Pink, Mariah Carey and Miranda Lambert. According to Naja, one of the hottest summer nail trends, favored by the celeb crowd, is the hourglass manicure.

“The standard hourglass manicure is slimming and flattering to anyone’s fingers, whether they have long or short nails, and there are unlimited variations,” says Naja.

“ You can either create a standard hourglass or you can add a third color to really add a strong pop of color for summer at the beach," Naja says.
