Clint Wilson, Creative Director of Sassoon on West 56th Street in NYC, is dealing with strong emotions at this very sad time in the salon world. I stopped in to chat with him and see how everyone is holding up. "This is a tough time for all of us," he told me. "Not just the stylists and the professional industry, but even for the clients."
Clint told me he has been consoling many in the salon, some of whom worked with Vidal himself years ago when he was based in New York. "After all of these years, we all stand by what he said."
Clint acknowledges how Vidal changed the world of hair for everyone. "Vidal introduced the world to the beauty of the salon," Clint told me before I offered the microphone. "I have been with Sassoon for almost 12 years. He made the salon business joyful for everyone."
