Cosmetology Students Step Up for Charity

The students at PJ's College of Cosmetology in Louisville, Kentucky have established "Beautify Life," a charitable organization to help provide beauty services and clothing for the underpriviledged. The students have recruited sponsors to donate money for hair cuts and styling services, and all donations are matched by PJ's with an additional service for the recipients.
PJ's students have also volunteered time and services at the Indian Springs Camp for children with cancer or who are cancer survivors. The Beautify Life program also donates gift certificates to women and family abuse centers and to the Dress for Success program to help individuals gain the self esteem needed to pursue employment .
On November 7th, the school is hosting "Taking Steps to Beautify Life,"  an event on the campus with food and fashion to introduce Beautify Life. to the Louisville community.
A spokesperson for PJ's College of Cosmetology says, "The students are venturing out and helping beautify the less fortunate to make them feel good about themselves.
