CosmoProf is sponsoring a competition for professional stylists in Canada: the XP200 True ColorsCover Competition.

CosmoProf is sponsoring a competition for professional stylists in Canada: the XP200 True ColorsCover Competition that lets Canadian stylists show off their hair coloring skills and creativity using SP200 Hair Color. Entering the competition gives stylists the chance to win a trip to Toronto to attend the Contessa Awards along with over $200 in prizes, a professional photo shoot and the possibility of appearing on the cover of the November 2012 CosmoProf shopping guide. A $25 gift certificate will be given to all entrants.
The competition is open from April 1 through July 31, 2013 and the winner will be announced on August 1, 2013.
The first phase of the competition is online. Stylists will enter looks, prepared on models, and showcase them through social media. Three semi-finalists will be chosen by popular vote and an additional three will be chosen by a CosmoProf panel of judges between April 1 and May 31.
The final phase of the contest will require the six finalists to submit one new look, which will be judged by an expert panel, including CosmoProf executives. All finalists will receive $200 gift basket and will be featured in the November 2013 CosmoProf shopping guide.

The XP200 True ColorsCover Competition Grand Prize winner will work with a professional photographer to shoot the cover image for the shopping guide and will be flown to Toronto to present on stage at the 2013 Contessa Awards.
“XP200 Hair Color is an amazing line that is perfect for all types of clients, especially a culturally diverse clientele, since it contains hydrolyzed keratin, which improves flexibility, strength and shine,” says Carolyn Corporon, vice president, marketing for CosmoProf. “We are excited about the unique way we are introducing this product to our customers in Canada and are hoping the contest triggers great success for the brand.”
