The professional salon community of Port St. Lucie, Florida was all abuzz this morning as the 1000th CosmoProf store in the United States opened its doors along the city's famed Route 1.
"We're glad to be in Port St. Lucie," says CosmoProf President John Golliher. "This is our 48th store in Florida and all of this in just 5 years."
"The opening of this store is a hallmark for us and we are so proud," said Mike Flahaven, Group Vice President, Store Operations for CosmoProf, before he took the Modern Salon Media audience on a tour of the new store. "We're celebrating this opening in our entire network and giving away gift baskets and shopping sprees. This store features our classic layout and design for the salon professional to get all the products and tools needed to serve clients and excel in business."
One of the highlights of the opening was a visit from Port St. Lucie Mayor JoAnn Faiella who was thrilled to celebrate the opening with the CosmoProf team and walked away with a goody bag filled with many wonderful professional items.
Carolyn Corporon, VP of Marketing was offered the opportunity to interview Joe Krimmer, VP of Store Operations, East. "This makes us officially the largest professional beauty supply distributor and network of stores for the salon professional.
