As you can probably tell from my picture, I wear a lot of eye make-up. It’s the one area of my face I can’t let go natural. I’ve tried, many times: But I can’t do it, won’t do it, no matter what, never, ever, ever. I think it’s genetic.
All the women in my family seem to be the same way. We all spend the most time in the morning doing our eyes.
My dad always teases us girls (I have two sisters) and calls it our "war paint" and asks why we won't let our "natural beauty" show.
We don't look like raccoons or anything, but we definitely like the dark, edgy look that some eye make-up can provide. In my opinion, there's nothing better than SUPER black eyeliner, the darker the better, along with uber-long lashes.
Unfortunately, I wasn't blessed with big ‘ole lashes; so I have to rely on powerful mascara to get the look I want.
Well, I think I found my new favorite toy.

Mirabella's new Fringe Benefits collection totally takes my lashes to their fullest, most fabulous potential.
I start off with the primer ($18.50), made from a blend of beeswax and other natural waxes, which has nylon fibers in it to create maximum extension and definition.
Then I use the Lash Essential Mascara ($19.75), which latches onto each individual lash to give me that wide-eyed look I love.
The Fringe Benefits collection also includes a lash conditioner ($18.50) and a heated lash curler ($26), which I haven't yet tried, but if I'm such a huge fan of the other two pieces, I'm bound to love them.
Mirabella's cosmetics are available at mirabellabeauty.comor by calling 800-853-6650.
