At the Maya 244 show, Todd Barnes for Rusk created this gravity-defying pony-swirl. A wire was placed in the lengths, allowing the artist maximum control.

Hair color by Eva Scrivo and the Wella Professional team and style by Odile Gilbert for Sebastian Professional capped off the looks at Catherine Malandrino. Contrasting hair pins added edgy appeal to the elegant "Mohawk" bun.

Odile Gilbert for Aveda with Dennis Clendennen created these retro knots. "It's very Eva Perón meets Juliette Lewis," says Gilbert. "It's giving the '40s a modern shape." Gilbert used Aveda Light Elements Defining Whip and Air Control Hair Spray to create the look.
