THE BEST PART OF DOING HAIR FOR SEX AND THE CITY:

Meeting all the style icons on
set-I can't give away any names, you'll have to wait until the movie comes out to see who!

MY FAVORITE LOOK FROM THE MOVIE: All the homage to Halston. Patricia Field is a genius.

I REALLY SHOULDN'T TELL YOU THIS: It takes a village to create the visual spectacle you are about to see in the new Sex and the City 2. It's a feast for the style mavens' eyes, that's for sure!

MY STYLE RIGHT NOW: My style right now is a laid-back, polished look if there is such a thing- it's hard to not over dress when you're such a clothes horse.

THE COOLEST LOOK I EVER CREATED: A style for Teresa Palmer in the upcoming movie The Sorcerer's Apprentice. The color, style and cut were a great meeting of the minds between us.

THE CELEB I WOULD MOST LIKE TO MAKEOVER: I am not sure she needs one, but First Lady Michelle Obama. It would be an honor to put her into her next look.

THE BEST THING ABOUT MY JOB: I get to create-because to not create is to not breathe.

THE TOUGHEST PART OF MY JOB: Not being able to be in two places at once. I love working on
film sets but love being behind the chair as well.

THE BEST JOB I EVER HAD AS A HAIRDRESSER: Now! I own and run my salon in Newport, Rhode Island. I am by the beaches and great food and people. It's a great little salon with all the right energy. I couldn't ask for a better job.

In Dubai, Clients Visit the Salon Every Week. Here’s What That Market Can Teach You

In Dubai, a salon visit isn’t an appointment. It’s a weekly routine, and clients can spend $800 to $1,400 a month on it, according to Gaurav Tripathi of MADI International. On October 6-8, 2026, the market behind those numbers opens its doors as Beautyworld Dubai marks its 30th edition at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together distributors, brands, stylists and salon owners from all over the world.
