Movie buffs and Hollywood fans got a thrill recently in Alpharetta, Georgia, when The Joneses came to town. No one was more excited, though, than Muse Salon and Spa owner Daniel Jones. The movie's production team selected his upscale salon as the perfect setting for scenes with Demi Moore's character, who visits to gossip with her stylist.

After the movie's location manager saw the salon's lux décor, Jones was approached to host that part of the filming. "I believe that Muse Salon and Spa is a great fit for the movie," says Jones. "The Joneses are the type of high-end clientele and community we cater to. Families in our area want to be the best they can and are always comparing themselves to their neighbors, which is reflected in the movie."

The movie follows the lives of a perfect, wealthy family, the Joneses-designer clothes-wearing Kate (Demi Moore), successful businessman Steve (David Duchovny), and their popular teen children, Jenn and Mick. They seem to have it all and their neighbors have a hard time keeping up them, until they learn the truth behind the family.

It was definitely a first for Muse, whose team created hair for television shows in the past, but was never part of a big Hollywood production. "We were excited to see all the hype during the shoot. The salon was surrounded by paparazzi," says Jones "It was definitely something new for the whole team and I am sure our clients will be thrilled to see their salon in a big Hollywood production."

Several L'Oréal Professionnel products, which are carried by the salon, also make a cameo in the film-both on the salon shelves and in some of the stars' locks!
