I haven't yet seen Chris Rock's new documentary, Good Hair, but the buzz is quickly building. In fact, so much so that my beauty school is planning a school trip to the movie theater next week to see it as a class. So, what makes this movie so buzz-worthy?
If you haven't watched it yet, take a look at the trailer. Chris Rock visits beauty salons, styling competitions, scientific laboratories and Indian temples to explore the way hair styles impact the activities, wallets, sexual relationships and self-esteem of the black community.
