ANTOINETTE BEENDERS FOR CHRISTIAN SIRIANO
Aveda's Antoinette Beenders is just an incredible talent and all out great person. She and famed designer Christian Siriano are so in sync for each season. For Spring/Summer 2011, Antoinette and Christian came up with the idea to create an elongated look ("very giraffe-like" says Antoinette) with a high textured bun to compliment the animal prints in the collection. "The Christian Siriano hair look for this season is all about different cultures mixing and blending together. The style is a modern bun-full of attitude-with sections of crimped hair cascading over it for texture. It's a strong, contemporary twist on the classic bun."

KEVIN RYAN AND FRANK RIZZERI FOR RICHARD CHAI
Kevin and Frank, founders of RSESSION TOOLS, are two of the busiest editorial stylists out there. Using their double barrel iron, the artists and their team created long cascading waves from a heavily gelled top. "Yeah, we're not doing the next artists any favors," says Kevin Ryan about the cemented strands. "We put an s----load of product in there!" Added Frank, "At least its not baby oil! We've had to deal with that before!"
