The much anticipated #AcademyofHair has opened its doors. On Thursday, June 14, Henkel’s leading professional hair care and color brands Alterna, Kenra Professional, PRAVANA, #mydentity, Joico, Schwarzkopf Professionaland Sexy Hair celebrated the inauguration alongside beauty industry leaders, influencers and community dignitaries. Guests toured the world-class, state-of-the-art space and experienced first-hand its advanced educational and content creation capabilities. The evening concluded with a high-energy runway presentation where each brand showcased their artistry and unity under one roof.

Henkel’s #AcademyofHair is located within the Beauty Care Hair Professional Headquarters in Culver City where the seven brands have come together. The facility features several unique, rentable spaces including a full-service test salon and color bar, a digital trend lab designed specifically for content creation and a versatile academy space. The #AcademyofHair is equipped with brand-new, cutting edge technology at the height of industry innovation. A spectacular view of the Los Angeles skyline is a complement to the numerous opportunities that this state-of-the-art facility has to offer. An ultimate learning center, the #AcademyofHair provides Henkel the opportunity to share its brands’ industry-leading products and innovations with stylists worldwide.
