Here’s a quick rundown of why Facebook offers are an important tool to utilize:
1. Expand your audience. Whenever one of your current followers clicks on your published offer, countless other Facebook users will be notified; when the link is clicked, the Facebook friends of the client who claimed the offer will also see the promotion in their personal News Feeds. Essentially, people will be spreading the word about your promotion to other potential clients.
2. Increase page traffic. Offers provide great incentives for current Facebook fans of your salon’s page to generate participation on your future postings a well. Think of it as an added benefit of introducing new fans to ‘like’ your page.
3. Raise awareness and offer exclusive deals. If you create an impression of exclusivity within your offer, people will be more likely to “watch” your Facebook page to capture deals at the first signs of posting. Be sure to limit the availability of your offer – it gives your fan the sense of immediacy, encouraging them to take action to redeem your offer.
It’s a win-win, right? Now, time to get down to business. I’ve put together a few best practices when it comes to creating your actual offer:
