L’Oréal Professional Products Division (with brands including L’Oréal Professional, MATRIX, Biolage, Redken, Pureology, Kerastase, Mizani, Baxter of California and Pulp Riot) are launching the “Back In Style” campaign aimed at empowering salon owners and stylists that have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, timed to Small Business Saturday.

At one point in time, going to the hair salon was treated as a little reprieve from the hustle and bustle of our hectic lives. Those few hours spent at the salon each month or so were an escape. The Back In Style Campaign encourages customers to support their local salons and aims to help stylists connect, grow and thrive in a digital future, with viral social media campaigns and activations targeted towards salon clients at a national and regional level. L'Oréal Professional’s network of brand influencers and artists will participate in the social media campaign.

MATRIX Global Business Ambassador Tabatha Coffey suggests supporting your stylists in the following ways:

  • Give the gift of beauty this holiday season by purchasing a gift card from your salon for future use

  • Write a positive review about your salon or your favorite stylist

  • Pick up some beauty products “to go” from your salon that you would usually purchase at a regular visit
