Do your clients have problems with unruly and dry hair? Well, they don't have to fret any longer because all you have to recommend to them is an intensive conditioning treatment to restore shine and moisture to their hair. Having trouble finding/choosing the right products? I selected four different conditioning treatments (from oil to deep conditioner) that will give your clients' hair the extra "zing" they are looking for.

Abba Gentle Conditioner: Part of their specialty collection, this conditioner promotes healing, moisturizes and smoothes the hair cuticle. For application all you have to do is distribute the conditioner evenly from the scalp to the ends. But you do not want to rinse this out because it is a LEAVE IN treatment.

It contains Passion Flower, Aloe Vera extract and Cherry Bark which all help restore natural balance to the hair, skin and scalp. It has a nice subtle scent, which won't leave your clients' feeling overpowered. Abba products are 100 percent vegan, free of synthetic dyes, sulfate free and DEA free AND they come in other categories: moisture, color protect, volume, shine, normal, curl and style.

Authentic Nourishing Oil: Part of Davines' newest collection, this oil can be used for your face, body AND hair! It's formulated with 100 percent naturally derived ingredients with organic carthame oil, which protects against environmental damage. If you dab a little bit of this oil on your skin (or in your hair) you will notice that it is very moisturizing and it adds a good amount of shine. This oil has a very natural, earthy scent. The best thing that I can compare it to is the scent of a greenhouse or a rainforest.  On top of being organic, it contains no artificial colors, no silicons and no PEG. It's a nice product to have on hand!

Phiten Bella Treatment: This deep conditioner revitalizes, detangles and moisturizes hair very nicely. I used about a quarter size of this conditioner, left it in my hair for about 7 minutes (it's recommended to leave it in 5-10 minutes,) washed it out and my hair felt smooth and silky. Make sure your clients know not to entirely rinse off the conditioner. Their hair should feel slightly slippery, so that the nutrients in the conditioner can be fully absorbed.

If your clients have really damaged hair, you can also recommend them to use this conditioning treatment a couple times a week, for better results. The scent of this product is so nice (perfume-y); I used it this morning and I can still faintly smell it in my hair now!

Day Lily Conditioner: Part of Bain de Terre's NEW Day Lily Color Preserving & Volumizing Collection, this conditioner (used along with the shampoo) will preserve color vibrancy by 90 percent and increase volume up to 45 percent (according to Bain de Terre). This conditioner contains UVA & UVB protectants, volume-boosting wheat protein and Bain de Terre's signature botaniceuticals.

Tune in next time for more product reviews!!

In Dubai, Clients Visit the Salon Every Week. Here’s What That Market Can Teach You

In Dubai, a salon visit isn’t an appointment. It’s a weekly routine, and clients can spend $800 to $1,400 a month on it, according to Gaurav Tripathi of MADI International. On October 6-8, 2026, the market behind those numbers opens its doors as Beautyworld Dubai marks its 30th edition at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together distributors, brands, stylists and salon owners from all over the world.
