It's date night for your clients and they want the right products to make them look and feel FABULOUS! So what kinds of things should you recommend? I gathered up a collection of products that I think will solve their worries. As the stylist, it is your responsibility to make them look great coming out of the salon-these products will help them achieve their "date-night" looks night after night at home. Check these out:

Seaweed Gel Mask: This is a multi-tasking gel that does wonders for both hair AND skin. It supports oxygenation of tissue and it soothes sunburnt skin while cooling burns and alleviating redness. For hair, the best way to use this mask is to apply it to clean hair, comb through, wrap in a plastic wrap or shower cap and leave it in over night. Then, wash it out the next morning. So for your clients make sure they start preparing for their big night the day BEFORE. For facial and body use, leave on skin for 20 minutes and then massage the rest of the mask into the skin. This mask will help your clients wash away impurities, leaving their faces and skin bright and refreshed. And who doesn't want that?   Seaweed Gel Mask

MiN New York Solution 2 Post Shave Treatment: This treatment for both men and women alleviates bumps and ingrown hairs. However, it is also handy as a moisturizer, and it helps prevent acne and blemishes. The solution in this post-shave treatment is formulated with aspirin and organic spearmint-for soothing and cooling! I tried it out myself and it is quite refreshing. The unique roller ball is also super cool and convenient. It allows for a smooth getaway…  Post-shaving Treatment

American Crew's Citrus Mint Collection: Once I learned about this hair care set my eyes widened a little. Citrus Mint, I thought, what an interesting combination! The set comes with Refreshing Shampoo, Cooling Conditioner, Mosturizing Body Wash and High Hold Styling Gel. The blend of the citrus with the kick of cool mint makes this line really special, and it sounds so refreshing. Great set for sunburnt scalp or just keeping hair moisturized throughout the summer months. If your clients like the set, they can also bring it with them wherever they go with the Essential Travel Kits as well.

Bio Silk Therapy 17: In my opinion, leave-in conditioners are wonder workers. They will keep your client's hair moisturized, shiny and frizz-free. If you ask me, I think that leave-in conditioners are necessary for almost everyone. This treatment in particular protects hair from fading, against environmental damage, split ends, frizz, flyaways and it's a thermal protector too. This particular leave-in conditioner is a mist, so it won't leave hair heavy and bogged down like cream sometimes. Bio Silk Therapy 17

Curls Like Us Cloths: These cloths are particularly for your curly clients who want luxurious curls in half the time. These cloths are shaped like a pillowcase, but open on both ends. To work the cloths, put hair inside the cloth and with one hand on each end scrunch the hair together. These cloths claim to help dry hair faster than a regular towel. It's a great option if your client's the "Air-drying" type and they want their "curly" look for their night-out in a flash.   Curls Like Us Cloths

Deepshine Oil: I have grown accustomed to using a little bit of hair oil in my hair everyday, and I have found that argan oil will help fix damaged hair and split ends. Rusk's Deepshine Oil formulated with marine mineral-enriched argan oil, hydrates hair, improves its elasticity and it is lightweight-so it will leave hair soft and manageable. After blow drying I have found that the argan oil really makes my hair shiny, shiny, shiny.  Deepshine Oil

In Dubai, Clients Visit the Salon Every Week. Here’s What That Market Can Teach You

In Dubai, a salon visit isn’t an appointment. It’s a weekly routine, and clients can spend $800 to $1,400 a month on it, according to Gaurav Tripathi of MADI International. On October 6-8, 2026, the market behind those numbers opens its doors as Beautyworld Dubai marks its 30th edition at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together distributors, brands, stylists and salon owners from all over the world.
