It's a new year and the stars seem to be taking it to heart by debuting new looks right and left. Two reality starlets showed off dramatic color changes on the very same night at two different events. Khloe Kardashian arrived at the People's Choice Awards with long red locks, while Lauren Conrad took her newly brunette strands to the CoverGirl 50th Anniversary Celebration.

Khloe Kardashian made quite a statement, arriving on the blue carpet with her four brunette sisters. For those having trouble telling the five Kardashians apart, Khloe just made it a lot easier. Rumor has it she wants to go even redder, so expect further dramatic hair changes to come.

Lauren Conrad's shade transformation took her from buttery blonde to golden brown-a new shade that resembles that of the most famous bride-to-be, Kate Middleton. It's hard to resist the comparison, especially when she shows up with her long, glossy locks worn loose and wavy.
