Milady has written its first exclusive global license toFarouk Systems, Inc. the maker of BioSilk, CHI and Esquire Ultimate Men’s Grooming. This exclusive global license will provide products and styling tools for cosmetology student kits from Farouk Systems.
The deal between Farouk Systems and Milady was brokered by LMCA, Milady’s exclusive licensing agency.
Milady, a Cengage company, is a leading provider of beauty and wellness learning solutions and has been an industry leader for 90 years. Known as a leader in pre-licensure resources, Milady also offers online training and professional development classes for salon and spa professionals, changing the lives of tens of thousands of individuals every year.
Houston-based Farouk Systems, Inc. manufactures professional hair care products under industry-leading brands: SunGlitz, CHI, BioSilk and Esquire Ultimate Men’s Grooming. The company was founded in 1986 by Dr. Farouk Shami, a hairdresser whose mission is to provide the professional beauty industry with the most advanced American technology based upon a standard of “Education, Environment and Ethics." Dr. Shami is also the owner of 23 patents and a creator of ammonia-free hair color.
