What a great way to start the new year! I just got back from Cancun where I joined Matrix and 1500 Matrix artistic educators, employees, business partners and field people for an exciting three days. “Embrace the Future” was quite an event, chock full of education, entertainment and inspiration. There were product introductions, demonstrations and presentations as well as a condensed version of Matrix Sales University, a program designed to guide those selling Matrix products help build salon business. The absolute highlight was a show by Gina Kahn , the Logics artist and superstar salon owner from San Francisco. Gina presented a spectacular group of models that were, in a word, breathtaking. The hair cuts and color designs were some of the best I’ve ever seen at any presentation. Everything was perfect from head to toe. The models ranged in age from the 40’s (to best represent the new age-defying line from Logics) to the stunning young women in their 20’s. The hair was not sacrificed for the amazing fashions, all designer and all elegant. Can’t wait to tell you more in an upcoming issue!
