There were very few braids on the runways this season, so we celebrate the Tracy Reese Spring/Summer '08 collection where magnificent braids made a powerful impression during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Edris Nicholls (for FHI Heat) used an assortment of FHI products and tools to create these dramatic looks. Two braids were designed along the nape and then merged asymmetrically to leave a long side braid. The key to this look (and the look for most shows) was the finishing touch. Just as each model prepared to walk the runway, Edris took a comb to loosen each braid leaving it slightly disheveled and "undone." Another winner!
