Thousands of salon professionals attended the Miami Beach Beauty Show, held last week at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Florida. New items were launched at the show and professional beauty education (in hair, nails, skin care, make up and business) was offered in many of the rooms off the show floor.
"We're trying to keep everything professional," says show founder Edward J. Oberle. "Today so many clients are buying products and tools over the counter. Our goal is to keep the salon artist on top of his or her game with professional items and education."
Modern stopped by near the end of the show, found many new and exciting appliances and was able to get brief videos about three of the hottest items. Get an overview of the show from Edward Oberle as well as information of new launches from Andis, Parlux and Enzo Milano.
