Always thinking trends, I ask,“What’s happening this summer?”
“Bobs in every flavor,” says Leo, “wild short hair either solid, layered or textured. Lots of playtime with undercutting wild short hair and, if its long hair, it’s layered with lots of movement. Bangs are also happening.”
“What about summer haircolor?” “ Totally strong, intense colors. Some of my favorites are Aloxxi’s copper, Don’t Prosciutto the Messenger;for blondes:Aloxxi Prima Donna; reds: Aloxxi Michelangelo’s Passion; and for my Latina brunettes: Aloxxi Brilliant Bergamo.”

On attaining success, Leo is very clear, “Two things are necessary. First, do everything from the heart, with passion, dedication, and attention to detail. Believe me, clients totally notice it, and you will have a lot more fun when fully dedicated to your craft. Second, is continued education, don’t forget our beauty industry is constantly renewing itself, season after season there are always subtle to dramatic changes in looks, so you cannot afford to sit around, you need to constantly be educating yourself and having fun with the new ideas.”
