I am so excited about tonight I can hardly stand it! I've never been to NAHA, but I've been obsessed with it since I saw the finalists' entries (view all the submissions at modernsalon.com/naha). I can't believe it's finally here!
The amazing, unique, exciting talent that is honored at NAHA each year is astounding. I am SO excited to be a part of it. Editor Laurel Nelson and I are presenting the award for Texture tonight--AHH!!! I'm so excited/nervous/thrilled to be up there on stage with some of the industry's best.
I'll be sure to take tons of pictures and will definitely be blogging after the ceremony! Every time I think about it I get butterflies in my stomach! This is the Oscars of hair, people!!
One more huge shout out to the awesome people who entered this year's competition... your work was INCREDIBLE! I pored through each and every picture, studying the details and techniques--honestly, I don't know how some of you did it! Your concepts and exection were incredible! Bravo!
One day, maybe in 20 years or so, I'll muster up the courage and talent to enter a competition like NAHA... : ) For now, I'll stick with presenting the awards!
