We’ve seen interpretations of it on the runway with Valentino and Givency, with major manufacturers trend collections like Wella’s Urban Native and Aveda’s Culture Clash, and in the classroom with Pivot Point’s Desert Light workshop. Undone, whimsical texture is summer 2014’s must-have look! For Royals Hair & Beauty’s latest collection, “Nea Isis,” Creative Director Mary Alamine looked to the elements of ancient Africa, Asia and Latin America for inspiration. By playing with shapes and experimenting with texture and volume, Alamine was able to creatively reinvent the looks for modern day while paying homage to their tribal roots.
