Joaquin Regalado, the designer of a new haircutting tool, THE COMB, is passionate about the precision geometrics of haircutting and styling. He used Renaissance Inventor/Artist/Genius Leonardo da Vinci as inspiration for the creation of THE COMB which has, like an architect's tool, a level.
"The comb offers precision visualization which means that hairdressers need to learn to use their arms and bodies differently-- with more accuracy," says Regaldo. "Using THE COMB helps posture, body mechanics and ergonomic efficiency when cutting."
THE COMB is available as part of a starter kit that includes a DVD for instruction on accurate three-dimensional hair cutting.
