Shauky Gulamani, founder of California’s LIFE Marketing Group, has partnered with Guangzhou DZD Industrial Co., one of the world’s premiere providers of professional hair color swatch charts.

Shauky Gulamani, founder of California’s LIFE Marketing Group, has partnered with Guangzhou DZD Industrial Co., one of the world’s premiere providers of professional hair color swatch charts. Thanks to this new venture, manufacturers can now get top quality, customized hair color charts at extremely competitive prices directly from the manufacturer.
Gulamani will draw on his own insights and experiences as a hairstylist to oversee production of the hair color swatches. “My partners have been in this business for more than 20 years,” Gulamani notes. “Their production process is highly sophisticated, blending subtle threads of color together to create realistic, perfectly-matched shades. I’ve now contributed my own insights and skills, and the results we are getting are truly outstanding—all at a price that is less than what manufacturers are paying for their existing color charts.”
As hair color portfolios proliferate thanks to new color technology, swatching is more critical than ever to support sales, marketing and the colorist’s art. According to Gulamani, LIFE now has the technology to offer matte, metallic, pastel, grey and fashion shades—in addition to the full range of classic blondes, brunettes and reds. “We can meet the needs of any company’s color portfolio,” he says. “And everything is custom-produced in-house.” The team will also work with manufacturers to produce small-batch products to support color shade and/or trend launches. “Experience shows that being able to offer color swatches for the shades used in a hair color trend, or the shades used for a color portfolio extension, can be incredibly useful for amplifying sales and even for converting salons to a brand they don’t normally use,” Gulamani says. “At LIFE Marketing Group, our business model not only allows us to offer super competitive pricing, it also gives us the ability and agility to respond to market needs and run with our ideas the moment creativity strikes. LIFE stands for Luxury Innovation for Everyone. And that sums up our mission. We believe everyone should have access to the best possible products in order to bring their artistry to life and support their businesses, and the quality of these products and tools should be guaranteed.”
