By now many of you have already tuned into Bravo's "Shear Genius", the 8 episode hairstyling competition. Nexxus Salon Hair Care is the official hair care sponsor, providing the guest judge, product placement plus an offer to apprentice with Roy Teeluck, Nexxus celebrity hair stylist and owner of the Roy Teeluck Salon in New York. Of course, the best prize to the winner is the amazing affirmation of talent as well as the $100,000 seed money.
We met with Roy at this very cool "Nexxus Shear Genius" pop-up salon at the Time Warner Center on the west side of Manhattan. The Nexxus crew took over the center space lobby and offered new looks to those lucky enough to be in the building at the time. 150 people were served by Roy Teeluck and a staff of ten Nexxus stylists. Anthony Morrison , the winner of the Shear Genius Nexxus Challenge, was there to meet his public and to tackle the press for his first satellite media tour.
