Breathe Easy

OPI is joining the Lung Cancer Foundation of America in its goal to prevent and cure this disease, the number-one cancer killer of women, most of whom are non-smokers. To help raise funds for LCFA, OPI has created Breathe Life, an airy, silver-blue nail lacquer  that will reach salons in April. In addition to the launch of Breathe Life, OPI has also made a donation to the foundation.

"Because LCFA is a new organization, working at the grassroots level, every dollar contributed makes a tremendous impact," says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI executive vice president and artistic director. Breathe Life is available in an eight-piece counter display with chip board and header card.

In Dubai, Clients Visit the Salon Every Week. Here’s What That Market Can Teach You

In Dubai, a salon visit isn’t an appointment. It’s a weekly routine, and clients can spend $800 to $1,400 a month on it, according to Gaurav Tripathi of MADI International. On October 6-8, 2026, the market behind those numbers opens its doors as Beautyworld Dubai marks its 30th edition at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together distributors, brands, stylists and salon owners from all over the world.
