This "Pretty In Pink" design by Mikel Sessions (@mikelsessions) was created for guest and friend Kasia. "I've been cutting hair for the homeless here in San Jose, Ca lifornia every 3rd Saturday of the month with MeetChallenge.org .," says Sessions. "I have been participating in th is outreach for almost a year now and it has inspired me and elevated my barbering and cutting skills so much I've been creating hybrid cuts at Krush Salon, Los Gatos and RogueSessions Salon in Sacramento."
Sessions, who just taught a Barbering Class at the new Paul Mitchell School/San Jose, California adds: "I am excited to say that the students were so Inspired by my class that they will be joining me this holiday season as we provide food, clothing, shelter and haircuts for the homeless in the heart of Downtown San Jose."

This particular style, posted on instagram, was inspired by the undercuts of the latest barber styles and classic Vidal Sassoon "5 Point Cut". "It's a hybrid style that's got incredible flavor," says Sessions. "The colors and undercut/tail and disconnection really gave the style a 80's/60's appeal."
Here Sessions offers the HOW TO:
Step 1 : Apply Framesi DeColo r B Diamond Lightener blended with 20 volume developer to just the Long bits of Hair (not the shaved areas).
Step 2 : Process under a cap at room temperature for 20-30 minutes or until reaching a pale blonde.
Step 3 : Shampoo, rinse, condition and towel dried.
