Pravana and Beauty Systems Group have announced a distribution partnership that will offer Pravana through CosmoProf and Armstrong McCall stores.

Pravana and Beauty Systems Group have announced a distribution partnership that will offer Pravana through CosmoProf and Armstrong McCall stores. This expansion will be effective beginning November 2018 in the continental United States, including Alaska.
The decision to expand distribution channels was made to support Pravana’s commitment to the stylist community even further. Now, Pravana will be even more widely accessible and have the greater opportunity to offer high performance and innovative beauty solutions to the salon community across the country. The distribution agreement will allow Beauty Systems Group to offer the Pravana brand through its CosmoProf and Armstrong stores throughout the United States, with an anticipated launch during the first quarter of fiscal year 2019. Pravana is owned by the German corporation, Henkel AG and Company.
“We are excited to partner with such a prestigious brand that is known by stylists in the professional channel as a leader in hair color and care,” said Chad Selvidge, senior vice president and chief merchandising officer. “Pravana is a brand that has always delivered tremendous innovation and creativity to the salon industry.”
“Pravanais a great brand, and this partnership will further enhance our hair color and care portfolio, which will expand our ability to support our stylists,” said Mark Spinks, president of Beauty Systems Group. “The Beauty Systems Group team looks forward to extending the Pravana brand to our community of stylists, especially with its wide range of vivid colors.”
“We are excited to begin our partnership with Beauty Systems Group,” said Pravana General Manager Michelle Chandler. “Because of our dedication to improving the lives of every day stylists, Pravana’s choice to expand distribution was made for our community to ensure that we are further living up to what we’ve promised to be: a brand that’s ‘created by stylists, for stylists.’ This next phase of Pravana will allow us to continue empowering hairdressers with quality products and even greater accessibility.”
Chandler added that Pravana maintains its commitment to its existing, highly-valued distribution partners who have helped shape the brand into what it has become. “We are honored to have had the ongoing support of our existing partners,” said Chandler. “Without them, we wouldn’t be where we are today, and we are looking forward to continuing our relationships.”
