Hairdresser, Editorial Stylist and Educator Alejandro Jimenez has created a space that makes it easy for hairdressers to connect, learn and have access to the best in luxury professional hair tools. PROHAIRKIT.com is Jimenez’s solution for the many hairstylists that find themselves with limited access to the brands, tools, education and inspiration that they crave.
PROHAIRKIT.com sells a variety of professional products by brands like Janeke, YS Park, Delorme and Yasaka. It also specializes in kits that are designed and curated with stylists’ individual passions and strengths in mind.

“I wanted to take the guesswork out of purchasing the right tools,” said Jimenez.
The site is also launching its first official US PHK Pro Tour 2015. In several cities across the country, Jimenez will be teaming up with local professional stylists to demonstrate techniques and tools. Furthermore, PROHAIRKIT.com offers two private in-salon sessions: The Straight Edge and Style Setter. The Straight Edge is a customized razor cutting session and is available in three levels: intro, revisit or advanced. Style Setter is a styling session available in three areas of focus: braiding, editorial or classic French hairdressing. Both include a demo, hands-on practice and tools. Online educational videos will soon be coming to the site as well. Visit prohairkit.com/education for more information on attending the US PHK Pro Tour 2015 or booking a private session.
Jimenez has worked on New York, Paris, Milan and London Fashion Weeks, as well as Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows. He has also styled countless celebrities and worked on various editorial and commercial shoots for publications including Vogue, Elle, W, V-Mag and campaigns for L’Oreal, Garnier and Victoria’s Secret. Alejandro has spent years training and collaborating with some of the best hairdressers in the world including Garren, Max Pinnell, Italo Gregorio, Ward and Laurent Philipon. Most recently, Alejandro worked as International Educator for Bumble and bumble and has trained thousands of hairdressers around the world.
Throughout Jimenez’s career and travels, he discovered hairdressers needed a place to experience and purchase the top professional hair tools in the industry. Often times, stylists would have to sift through hundreds of products online, travel to foreign countries or haggle with sales people in order to fill their needs. The intention of PROHAIRKIT.com is to create a space for hairdressers to connect and have access to the best in luxury professional hair tools and education.
