For those looking for more toning power, Redken has a solution.

The  company says the new mask is its most toning hair care formula, so it’s perfect for clients who are looking to maximize their toning results.

How does it work?

This formula works to tone unwanted brass in clients’ hair while maintaining its strength, similarly to the Redken Color Extend Blondage Shampoo and Conditioner. The Redken Color Extend Blondage Express Anti-Brass Mask's ultra-concentrated formula contains purple pigment, wheat protein, amino acids and glycerin to tone, strengthen and moisturize blonde hair.

To use:

  • Once per week, or as needed, shampoo with Redken Color Extend Magnetics Shampoo and then towel-dry hair.

  • Apply mask to hair, avoiding scalp area. Comb through for even distribution.

  • Leave on for five to 10 minutes, depending on desired neutralization: up to five minutes for subtle neutralization and up to 10 minutes for maximum neutralization.

  • Rinse thoroughly. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately.

Redken recommends that light to platinum blondes test the anti-brass mask on a small section of hair, leaving it on for the minimum recommended time (1-5 minutes) before applying all over to check the toning level result.
