Well now, Redken has partnered with Little Orbit LLC and the TONI&GUY Academy for the launch of Busy Scissors, a hair styling and simulation video game scheduled for release on Nintendo Wii and DS in North America, Europe and Japan this October! When I found out about this hairdressing video game, I instantly thought that it would be an awesome edition to any salon in their waiting room!
This industry-backed hair styling and simulation video game will allow players to perm, color, shampoo, cut, blow dry and style hair with the Wii remote, using Redken tools and haircare products to finish the looks! The game features over 25 different hair styles, 20 mini-games, six career levels and four game modes! Players can earn reputation and advance their career in a Hollywood-based salon by meeting the demands of their glamorous clientele. Ooo la la.
Redken's Busy Scissor's video game
Manifest Oranj, Busy Scissor's developer, worked with experts from TONI&GUY Academy to select real hair styles to use in the game. Each salon technique was demonstrated and filmed by the team, before it was re-created in 3D and designed as a mini-game.
