On Monday, December 8, Wella invited editors, Wella artists and more to The WellaStudioLA to experience the TrendVision catwalk shows featuring the SS15 and AW15 collections straight from the runway in Monaco featuring Wella Artists Brenton Lee and Michael Haase (2014 US Gold & Silver North American Trend Vision Award winners).
Both artists presented their interpretations of the Wella TrendVision trends for 2015, Lee taking on "Journey of Enlightenment" which will be the Sping/Summer 2015 trend and Haase designing a "New Frontiers" (Fall/Winter 2015) look on his model.

P&G Salon Professional Education Manager Carole Protat offered insight into the development of the trends which can be a five year process. "The trends are created as part of a broader P&G story," said Protat. "Ultimately, the trend to market journey is still about the individual artist and what is relevant to them."
Wella Education Associate Manager Paula Rufo gave in-depth descriptions of the upcoming trends and how they will relate to hair color and shape. "The 'Journey of Enlightenment' is about introspection, going inside and discovering yourself," said Rufo. "It features de-pigmented colors, a clean palette, breathing textures. Our Autum/Winter trend, 'New Frontiers' is inspired by the exotic, by journeys along the Silk Road, by traveling into unchartered territories."
Lee's model, in addition to her base color, had three different tones in her hair--a soft rose, soft aqua and pale gold. The shape was very structural and still disconnected.
Haase (his work is shown in photo above) worked with Wella Illumina Color to create a spicy ginger story, with a tower of texture, braiding and crimping.
Videos were screened of the Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2015 collection, created for the TrendVision show in Monaco by Akin Konizi, HOB International Creative Director and triple winner of Hairdressers Journal British Hairdresser of the Year Award. The other video was of the the Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2015 collection by Cyril Brune, a top international stylist from France and the first ever ITVA Young Talent winner who returned to Wella’s TrendVision event 11 years after his win to showcase his styling expertise.
