Sally Hershberger announces she will be holding an intimate workshop June 11 at her Sally Hersberger Downtown Salon in NYC.
Throughout the years, Sally Hershberger has made quite a name for herself for her unique shag styles and celebrity work (Sally created the famed Meg Ryan shag and Giselle long layers). She has also trained the hundreds of hairdressers who have eventually gone on to enjoy their own stardom, most notably Mark Townsend and Chris McMillan. However, to get that education, a stylist had to be part of her team at any of her Sally Hersberger Salons in either New York or LA. Although many have requested, Sally never made that education available to stylists outside her salon network.
Well, as of June 11, that will all change.
"People have begged me to hold workshops or classes," she told me recently while visiting her downtown salon. "I am introducing my new class: 'CRASH COURSE...How to stand out in the industry'. It will include a step by step breakdown on my signature cut and blow dry technique and will offer insight into how to build YOUR brand into an empire. The class will include how to have the biggest business including how to train, how to hire, how to make $800 per cut."
The $3000 price tag includes a mannequin head and the complete collection of the Sally Hershberger professional hair care line "Salon". Each attendee will be video-taped to keep that education handy at all times. "I'm really in to building people and I'm really looking forward to teaching others how to be successful," she says. "The timing is right."
