George Diller, regional sales manager for Takara Belmont, a leading manufacturer of salon furnishings and equipment,  died on August 20, 2008. He began his career with Takara in 1971 as a sales representative covering a seven state territory. In 1977, Diller was appointed regional sales manager and was based in Chicago.  He was instrumental in Takara's acquisition of Marble Products, a manufacturer of shampoo bowls, and in its U.S. introduction of the popular Belmaster Processor. His most recent position with Takara was as regional sales manager in Tampa. Florida.
"George was the consummate industry pro and a dedicated family man," said Larry Erikson, national sales manager for Takara Belmont. "He put his heart and soul into helping so many salon owners get their start by advising them in so many important areas."
