SalonTech Launches Keratin Straightening System

At a press conference during Beauty Week in Las Vegas, SalonTech introduced "Keratin Straightening System."

The five part system addresses the questions surrounding the controversial service with its new product. In addition to the Thermal Keratin Treatment, there is an Activating Cleanser, the Keratin Concealing Mask, the Progressive Keratin Shampoo and the Progressive Keratin Conditioner.

According to SalonTech, there are three controversial issues with most Keratin services. Each is followed by how the scientists at SalonTech deal with the concerns:

1.  Dry hair: The SalonTech formulation is created with clay and silicone to protect the hair from drying agents.

2.  Hair loss: Since most of the hair loss is from chemical residue and improper application, the Keratin Straightening System has a powerful regimen of aftercare products and extensive information on proper application.

3.  Formaldehyde and Aldehyde: This system uses different ingredients to absorb PPM levels.

While the same product is used for all hair types and textures, the magic comes in application including how many times each section is swept with an iron.

Most interestingly, this system allows the stylist to shampoo the hair immediately after the service. "This is really the best part," said Jessica, the SalonTech guest artist who was delivering the service to a model during the press conference. "I can let my client leave with clean hair! She leaves with shiny, smooth and manageable hair...that has been shampooed at the salon."
